Frozen,
that snapshot of moment,
cold in the long bowling ally hallway
in the Los Angeles hospital,
when they said you had passed,
nowhere to hide when you
told me you were sorry
then left me there,
engulfed in that foreign place,
where destiny took my hand,
and led us to a
soul agreement made long ago.
That tiny slice of time we got,
was a bright stanza,
a two dimensional rainbow of
movement and color,
from beach to snow,
to desert to green,
until the raven came and told me
the hourglass was empty.
And then that bright early December morning,
you disappeared into a crystalline direction,
distinct in an aura of love,
where I cannot yet dwell.
