Sally Turvey, Volunteer Services Coordinator

Sally was a Hospice of Santa Barbara volunteer for two years prior to being hired to work with volunteers. In her role, she helps with volunteer trainings, programs, recognition events, and volunteer support meetings. She is also in charge of the Beloved Bear program, through which family members can receive a teddy bear dressed in clothes made from the garments of a loved one who has passed away. Before coming to HSB, she held administrative jobs with various companies in England and Germany. She holds a London Chamber of Commerce Administrative & Business Certificate. Sally has three children and one grandchild, and she speaks some German. Her athletic claim to fame was taking first place in her elementary school's egg and spoon race!
