Poppy Jewett, Care Coordinator

Poppy provides support to the patient care services (PCS) team to facilitate the highest quality care for patients and families. Poppy was drawn to Hospice of Santa Barbara because she loves the idea of collaboration between different organizations all working towards improving the lives of clients living with illness and dealing with death. She loves being part of the PCS team because she feels emotionally supported, especially when dealing with heavy situations. Before coming to HSB in 2018, Poppy worked at Sarah House as a caregiver for six years, and also had her own private duty company called “Poppy Possibilities,” helping elderly people stay in their homes. In her spare time, Poppy likes to paint and run.
