Noelle Clearwater, M.A., Registered Associate MFT, Bereavement Counselor

Noelle provides individual bereavement services for children and adults, and also facilitates a widow/widower support group. Before coming to HSB in 2017, she worked for the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, New Beginnings Counseling Center, Salvation Army Hospitality House, Salvation Army ARC, and Pacific Pride Foundation. She also spent 14 years as a teacher at Santa Barbara City College in the English department. Noelle, holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Masters in English from UCSB. As of 2023, she has become a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. For her current doctoral internship, she sees clients at SBCC Student Health and Wellness Services. In her spare time, she likes to read and write poetry and attend community sing groups. She has a beagle-dachshund dog named Penny who often comes to Hospice with her and greets her clients.
