Nicole Romasanta, Director of Volunteer Services

Nicole has been our director of volunteer services since 2014. After six years in hotel management, Nicole went on to receive her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. Prior to joining Hospice of Santa Barbara, Nicole worked in the mental health field as a clinical case manager at Devereux and in-home supportive services at Sanctuary Psychiatric Centers. She has volunteered for several organizations including HSB as a patient care volunteer in 2009, a storyteller at Cottage Hospital providing respite for parents who have children with cancer, and as a board member at Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation. Her varied experience in management, mental health, and volunteering are especially well suited for her position. She’s also a busy mom to two teenagers and her adorable dog, Sophie.
