Ginny Reis, MFT, Care Manager
Since 2017 Ginny has been supporting patients with life threatening illness and their families through our Patient Care Services program. Ginny received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California, and became a licensed therapist in 2000. Her professional experience includes working as a vocational rehabilitation specialist for those with mental illness at Santa Barbara County Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health services; the director of HIV services for Pacific Pride Foundation; and a geriatric care manager at Senior Planning Services. In her spare time, Ginny enjoys and feels rejuvenated by nature-walks on the beach, hiking on our local trails, and yoga. She loves going to the movies and playing with her dog Birt, who is a French bulldog. She enjoys all of these activities with her wife Sandy.
