Gina Whitefoot, Development & Relationships Coordinator

Gina joined Hospice of Santa Barbara in 2020 as the development and relationship coordinator.  Gina spent a good part of her career as a Montessori educator and administrator until 2015 when she officially made a change to fundraising and development.  She has worked in development for The Child Abuse Prevention Center of Orange County, Montessori Center School and Transition House. She finds a similar sense of community, purpose and compassion in the non-profit world as she did in education, which she feels makes her job seem less like work and more like giving back to the community. Gina was born and raised in Santa Barbara and enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, camping and hitting the beach with her energetic Border Collie, Zoe.
