Christina Ketcham, AMFT, APCC, Bereavement Counselor
Christina has been helping clients through their grief journey at Hospice of Santa Barbara since October 2022; first as a student trainee and now as an associate pursuing licensure as a marriage and family therapist and professional clinical counselor. She was initially drawn to bereavement work because of grief’s incredible ability to be both universal and intricately unique. She feels honored every day to be able to be a companion to those grieving and a witness of the power of love in its many forms.
Christina graduated from Antioch University in April 2024 with a Somatic Therapy concentration and is also a Strozzi-certified Somatic Coach. Christina’s professional history includes earning a BA in Psychology at the University of Arizona (2009), working as a case manager in children’s mental health and the unaccompanied immigrant children shelter system, and running her own business, Sereno Relief Services.
At HSB, Christina works with children and adults in both English and Spanish. She also endeavors to provide neurodiverse-affirming care and makes a special effort to help clients embrace their unique ways of experiencing the world.
